NEBUDAIR-0.5 is a nebuliser suspension containing Budesonide BP 0.5 mg/2 ml, a corticosteroid used primarily for respiratory conditions. It provides targeted relief by reducing inflammation and easing breathing in patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory disorders.

Common Side Effects:

• Throat irritation or hoarseness.
• Dry mouth or unpleasant taste.
• Cough or throat discomfort during nebulization.

Rare Side Effects:

• Oral thrush (fungal infection).
• Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling).
• Adrenal suppression or slowed growth in children (long-term use).

• Administer via a nebuliser, as directed by a healthcare provider.
• Shake the suspension well before use.
• Avoid using more frequently than prescribed.

• Prolonged Use: Monitor for potential adrenal suppression.
• Pediatric Use: Regularly evaluate growth and development in children.
• Immune Response: May reduce infection-fighting capacity.

• Known allergy to Budesonide or any other components.
• Untreated infections, especially fungal or bacterial.

• Decreased Effectiveness: Co-administration with CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin, carbamazepine).
